Education\Degrees: 

     I earned my bachelor's of science degree in early childhood education from Wright State University and completed my Master's in Education from WSU, as well.  I earned an Associates of Applied Science in Aviation Administration many years ago and previously worked in the airfreight industry for approximately 15 years. I am happy to say I took a leap of faith and switched careers to pursue a passion: teaching! 
    My family includes my husband Ken, my two adult children Zach and  Elaina, my daughter-in-law, Jana, my son-in-law, Aaron, my step-daughter, Jessi, and my step-son, Pete.  We have many pets amongst us which also are an important part of our family! My husband and I currently enjoy living in the country in Springfield, OH with our Australian Shepherds and kitty.

     My teaching career began here at Concord in 2007 in Kindergarten and I feel blessed to be a part of this staff and community. I truly enjoy this age group and I look forward to getting to know my students, their families , and being a part of their growth!  Kindergarten is a great place to nurture a love of learning and  encourage students to be caring, compassionate,  and responsible citizens.  We work hard to build a sense of community and empower students to reach their highest potential.  Welcome to our hive!
