I am currently in my 24th year of education and 18th year working in Thompson. I spent the first six years teaching at Northwood Public School. I spent my first seven years in Thompson as the elementary principal. I will begin my 11th year as superintendent for the 24/25 school year. My wife Andrea is the media specialist at Grand Forks Central High School. Our son Logan is attending Mayville State and daughter Brooke is in 12th grade in Thompson.

I will update my page weekly to provide the latest information relating to Thompson Public School. I would also encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Twitter @TPSND61. Also, please contact the main office if you have new contact information so you get our announcements on ParentSquare.

Updates for the week of October 21:

We are off to a great start and unbelievably have one quarter completed!

As the weather turns colder I’d like to remind you of our winter storm options. Per school policy, 2 hour late starts, school closure, and virtual learning days are our three winter storm options if we don’t have a regular school day. We don’t have the option of an early dismissal once we start the school day or start late so we will always go until 3:15. There may also be scenarios when we have school but don’t run buses.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any concerns.
