Welcome! My name is Mrs. Riley. I am thrilled to be your teacher this year. It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us.

I am excited to get to know all of you, but first I thought I would tell you a little about myself. I have lived in Santa Clarita most of my life. I’m married to my wonderful husband Chris, and I have a son named Will who will be a third-grader this year! I also have one cat named Asheron and I love to go to the beach, pool, and camping. When I’m not spending time outdoors, I love to read and cook. 

I first began my teaching career in the Palmdale School District. During my tenure there, I taught 4th, 4/5 combo, 5th, 6th, and middle school math and science. After teaching in Palmdale for eight years, my family and I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. While in Las Vegas, I taught 1st grade and 4th grade. We moved back to Santa Clarita in 2023, and now I am excited to be teaching here at Sulphur Springs!

¡Bienvenido! Mi nombre es Sra. Riley. Estoy encantada de ser tu maestra este año. Será un año divertido lleno de mucho aprendizaje y nuevas aventuras. No puedo esperar a ver lo que nos espera.

Estoy emocionado de conocerlos a todos, pero primero pensé en contarles un poco sobre mí. He vivido en Santa Clarita la mayor parte de mi vida. Estoy casada con mi maravilloso esposo Chris y tengo un hijo llamado Will que cursará tercer grado este año. También tengo un gato llamado Asheron y me encanta ir a la playa, a la piscina y acampar. Cuando no paso tiempo al aire libre, me encanta leer y cocinar. 

Comencé mi carrera docente por primera vez en el Distrito Escolar de Palmdale. Durante mi permanencia allí, enseñé 4, 4/5 combo, 5, 6 to y matemáticas y ciencias de secundaria. Después de enseñar en Palmdale durante ocho años, mi familia y yo nos mudamos a Las Vegas, Nevada. Mientras estuve en Las Vegas, enseñé en primer y cuarto grado. Regresamos a Santa Clarita en 2023 y ahora estoy emocionado de enseñar aquí en Sulphur Springs.
