SCHOOL NEWS:

The South Windsor High School HOPE Club is sponsoring a blood drive with the American Red
Cross in the Library on Tuesday, March 21st, 2023 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. There will be free snacks and drinks for donors. If you are healthy and eligible, please donate. Most donations take about an hour, so book your appointment, roll up your sleeve and become a part of the lifesaving mission of the Red Cross. You must be at least 16 years of age to donate blood. 16 year olds must have the Parental Consent form completed: Parental-Consent-Blood-Donation.pdf. CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:  

Did you know that the amount of funding an animal shelter receives directly impacts the number of animals they can help? Help us help animals by donating your spare change during lunch waves from March 6th thru March 10th. Funds raised will benefit Pack Leaders Rescue of East Hartford.

Please come support the 9th Grade Class of 2026 at our fundraiser on Tuesday, March 7th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will be held at a local bowl and burrito spot at 48 Hale Road in Manchester. Use promo code RKJRHWE. The code and the flyer is on our school website and all social media sites. Thank you for your support! 

ATHLETICS:  

Spring sports registration is open in Powerschool. If you plan on playing a Spring sport, be advised that all registration material is due by March 9th. The 3 items you must submit are (1) Powerschool online registration, (2) Payment of $125 in the form of cash, check or online using www.myschoolbucks.com, and (3) A current Physician Statement dated AFTER  June 1, 2022. Please note that if you submitted a physician statement for a previous sport in the 22-23 school year, you do not need to resubmit one. Your registration is INCOMPLETE until all 3 of these items are submitted to the main office. Registration deadline is March 9th. Registrations submitted after March 9th are not guaranteed to be processed in time for tryouts. Contact the main office with any questions.
