  • The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a group of parents and educators that work together for the benefit of the students’ at Prestwood School. The main focus is to foster and enhance quality learning and life experiences for all Prestwood students. To this end, the PTO raises funds throughout the year. The three main fundraisers are Prestwood Direct, The Benefit Ball and the Jog-a-thon.  The PTO meets once a month on the first Monday (usually) of every month.  See the calendar for exact dates.

     

    New Family Information Packet

    Each school year, Prestwood is proud to welcome new families to our school. In conjunction with Principal Thomas, the PTO has developed a New Family Information Packet. This packet includes our school calendar, ways to get involved at Prestwood, how to sign up to receive updates from the school and much more! 

     

     

    Fundraising

    Prestwood school raises funds with four major fundraisers. The first is our Prestwood Direct campaign, in which parents are asked to donate a suggested amount of $350 per child.  ANY donations are appreciated, and we ask for 100% participation. Your contribution funds instructional assistants in the classroom, a computer lab coordinator, direct contributions to the classroom for extra items, field trips, and much, much more! Our Benefit Ball raises funds for our school art program and technology, and the Jog-a-thon also raises funds for technology. We urge you to donate in order to keep these valuable programs at our school. We also urge you sign up for e-scrip. Please see the link at the left of this page.


    A percentage of the money you spend on everyday purchases can be sent to Prestwood Elementary School using eScrip. To learn more, visit our ongoing programs page.
