Becoming a teacher came to me by my first year in college. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to become until I took a computerized career test and out popped three choices: Social Worker, CNA for the aging and elders, and a teacher. I investigated and volunteered for all three and I came to find my passion of becoming an elementary school teacher. I received my BA at CSUN in Child Development and went on to SFSU for my Multiple Subjects Credential. I have never looked back after 30+ years of teaching. I worked in the Redwood City School District for 22 years and came to LASD in 2014. I am passionate about the enthusiasm of every child and value building a family of learners. I enjoy being in the mountains, ocean sports, and traveling.
