Welcome to Santa Rita! By sending your child to Santa Rita Elementary School, you are joining a diverse and active community! We are happy to have you here. Starting a new school is a very overwhelming experience, so here are a few resources to help you:

 

Subscribe to the Santa Rita Parents Google Group (SR-Parents) to get connected to other Santa Rita families. This community-created group is a great way to meet other parents and learn about school, neighborhood, and community events.

 

The Santa Rita PTA is a parent-run organization that contributes thousands of volunteer hours every year to support all students and ensure their success. If you are joining our school mid-year and missed the back-to-school packet in the fall, please email our President, Kelly Sanders-Lo at mommakelly143@yahoo.com.

A very warm welcome to incoming families, both kinder and upper grades, is a cherished hallmark of Santa Rita. The buddy program is designed to help families that are new to Santa Rita but generally 1st grade and up. New and existing families are paired up so the new family has someone they can go to when they have questions about Santa Rita and Los Altos. The existing family is asked to "show them the ropes," help introduce the family, and check in with them to be sure their transition to Santa Rita is as easy as possible.
