The goal of the Maintenance & Operations Department is to ensure that our facilities are not a distraction to the education and learning that must take place inside our classrooms, and that our buildings are safe for our students and staff.

The Department oversees the Custodial personnel and the design and construction of new schools, renovation and addition projects. The Department also manages building security, warehousing and district furniture.

Within the Custodial group are day and night custodians.  The custodians are responsible for cleaning, minor maintenance and building security. Day and night custodial substitutes, large and small deliveries, refuse removal, and custodial equipment repair are also part of the Custodial group.
