5th Grade Moving On

Dear Families and Caregivers,

The fifth-grade team at Frances W. McClenney School is excited to invite you to the upcoming 5th Grade Moving on Ceremony! We will host a moving-on ceremony on
Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, to celebrate our fifth-grade scholars' transition to middle school. The ceremony will be held at 10 AM in the FMES auditorium. Each student will be given 6 tickets, and each person will need to have a ticket to enter the Moving On

Ceremony

Students are to arrive at their normal time, 8:00 am, no later than 9:15 am.

Families can start arriving at 9:15 am to get signed in and seated.

Dress Requirements: Students are asked to wear dress clothes in spring colors. We request that no jeans or casual clothes be worn. Please contact the 5 grade team or Ms. K (CIS) if you need help securing clothing.

Security

To ensure a secure environment for our school, each attendee will be asked to show ID when checking in.
