Accelerated Reader allows readers to read books and take tests to show their comprehension of the book. We encourage students to read their books multiple times before taking a test. This way, students can truly understand what they are reading and do well on the A.R. test. To pass a test, students must receive a 60% or higher. We don’t want students to rush through their books just so they can take a test, we want them to take their time and comprehend what they are reading. This is truly what makes Accelerated Reader such a useful tool. Listed below are the percentages of tests passed. We want students passing their tests, not just taking them!
