The Peabody Library is dedicated to promoting the love of reading and books! The library contains thousands of children’s books in contemporary and classical fiction as well as an ever growing nonfiction collection. Subjects include social and emotional learning as well as STEAM and current social issues. Books are available in English and Spanish with a growing bilingual collection.
The Peabody Library is the heart of the school offering a welcome, beautiful and safe environment for all. Students have scheduled class visits and the library is open during recess and lunch too. Parents are also encouraged to create a library account to check out books for their child/ren. Please connect with the Librarian, Ms. Watts, to do so.
Library Events and Fundraising
Peabody Library hosts two major fundraising events: Chaucer’s book fair in the Fall and the Peabody Used Book Sale in the winter. All proceeds go to the purchase of new books for the library and our beloved Authors’ Day event in which Children’s authors come to our school to meet and present to all of our students.
