Ritu Gandhi, a science teacher at Morales Elementary, has been selected to receive the NSTA Shell Science Teaching Award.
The NSTA (National Science Teaching Association) Award recognizes outstanding K-12 science teachers who are dedicated to serving their students and the community by providing a top-notch education in science. The (NSTA) was founded in 1944. Since that time, the organization has grown to 40,000 members and is the largest organization in the world dedicated to promoting excellence and innovation in science teaching, according to the organization’s website.
