THOMPSON IS: Students Pay Tribute to Victims in Washington, DC Tragedy on Sept. 20

Thompson Intermediate students and staff took a few moments on Wednesday to pay tribute to the victims of Tuesday’s senseless tragedy in Washington, DC.
President Barack Obama ordered all flags to be flown at half-staff until sunset on September 20, 2013. This is the second time in a week Thompson eighth grade students hoisted the United States and Texas flags half-staff – the first time was to honor the victims of the September 11 tragedy that occurred twelve years ago.
