The Pasadena ISD afterschool programs will be hosting Expressions: The Art of Afterschool Thursday, May 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Frank Braden Educational Center in the Carmen Orozco Professional Development Complex, located at 1832 East Sam Houston Pkwy, South in Pasadena.
The exhibit will feature various art pieces created by students in the Pasadena Texas ACE programs. Some art displays will include self-portraits, still life painting, photography, watercolor, stained glass, pottery, needlework and origami. This collection reflects the hard work, dedication and practice that goes into the creative process.
Light refreshments will be created and served by students in the Rayburn High School ACE program.
