Pasadena ISD hosted over 20 colleges, universities and teacher programs recently during its sixth annual university fair at the Orozco Professional Development Center.
Recruiters from each organization talked to nearly 200 Pasadena ISD employees interested in furthering their professional development.
“This year’s university fair was a stellar success, with numerous employees seeking to maximize their professional development by obtaining additional degrees and certifications,” said Traci Goodwin, Pasadena ISD director of professional development and events. “With all the colleges, universities and programs represented, there were plenty of opportunities for attendees to find the perfect program to meet their individual needs.”
Those in attendance included representatives from the University of Houston Main Campus, University of Houston Clear Lake, University of Houston Victoria, San Jacinto Community College, College of the Mainland, Galveston Community College, Concordia Portland, Grand Canyon University, Texas Southern University, Walden University, University of Phoenix, Lamar University, University of Houston Victoria, Texas Teachers Certification, Inspire Texas Certification by Region IV Educational Services, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Houston Baptist University, Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union and iTeach Teacher Certification.
