Memorial High's Aliena McGee took home $20,000 in live auction for her Grand Champion hog at the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Pasadena ISD FFA
students rang up a total of $135,050 in auction receipts for this year’s Pasadena
Livestock Show and Rodeo live auction on Thursday.
Leading the way was Memorial High’s
Aliena McGee who sold her Grand Champion hog for $20,000. Dobie FFA student
Hannah Brady received $8,000 for her Grand Champion rabbits, and fellow classmate
Erica Anthony took home $8,000 for her Grand Champion fryers.
Rounding out the top spots were
Memorial High students Cody Brabston who collected $8,000 for his Grand
Champion turkey tom, and Jake Renfro who walked away with $6,000 for his
Reserve Champion hog.
