Park View Intermediate parents have more learning opportunities to look forward to for their child this school year now that the Texas ACE Cowboy University program has officially begun.
Funded through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers initiative of the U.S Department of Education, the Park View Texas ACE Cowboy University program will provide students with hands-on enrichment activities designed to supplement their school day learning.
The program kicked off with an orientation on Thursday, Sept. 5, where over 400 enthusiastic attendees received information about ways to get involved and guidelines for program participation.
Families also received information on school day policies and various services the school offers students and their families. The packed house was welcomed by the school's principal Dr. Rob Hasson, ACE site coordinator Alfred Padron and ACE family engagement specialist Janice Brody.
