Dear Pine Grove Superstar Families,

My name is Michelle Boyd, and I am humbled and honored to serve the staff, students, and families of our little corner of paradise.
The Orcutt community has been my home since the 1990s. My husband and I proudly sent our two children to schools in the OUSD, and each married fellow OUSD alumni. I have spent 26 of my 28 years in public education as a member of the OUSD team; serving as a teacher, TOSA (teacher on special assignment), Vice Principal, and English Language Development Coordinator.  

At “The Grove” we believe students’ engagement in learning and connection to school are paramount to reaching their academic and social goals.  The Pine Grove staff collaborate weekly to plan and prepare for your child’s success.  Nurturing a growth mindset is embedded into our daily routines. 

One of the most important priorities of my work is to build relationships and trust with students, teachers, and families. I value your input, so please reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions.  We welcome positive feedback as well! The Pine Grove staff are genuine SUPERSTARS.  I am impressed daily by their dedication to our students. It is through partnering with home and school that we will succeed in bringing the best educational opportunities to your child.
