General Announcement
Sign up for the HOSA Blood Drive, hosted by the NHS in partnership with the American Red Cross. Donors must be at least 16 years old by March 11, 2025, and those under 17 must provide a signed parental consent form. Pick up the consent form from Mrs. McMillan, front office, or print the attachment on the email sent Feb. 12, 2025, to your school email. A valid photo ID is required for all participants. After donating, enjoy complimentary snacks and enter for a chance to win a $25 gift card. Secure your preferred time slot using the link below. Your donation will also support a scholarship for a Northwestern Senior Donor.

Any student that filled out parking permit application on Final Forms and did not receive one yet, please stop in at the front office and get your hang tag. Parking tags are to be kept in your vehicle.

Student Services Announcements
All juniors will be taking the ACT on March 11th here at Northwestern.
We will be offering an additional optional test date for any grade on April 8th . The cost of the test is $55. You must sign up for the test in the Guidance Office before February 14th. Late sign-ups will not be permitted.
Attention Seniors! Scholarship season has started! This year we have decided to post local scholarships on a google sheet that can be found on the Student Services webpage.

The sheet will include local and regional scholarships, as well as a link to the Wayne County Community Foundation scholarship application. Pay close attention to due dates, as these dates are FIRM. Northwestern High School is not responsible for the decisions made by scholarship organizations or individuals.
College Bound Seniors- early decision deadlines are approaching; if you need help getting started on applications or completing applications please stop by student services. Remember to let your teachers know if you requested a recommendation through Common App or Naviance.
Athletic Announcements
Mandatory baseball practice starts on Monday, February 24th, this will be Monday thru Friday from 3-5pm at Coach Bellman's facility.
REMINDER: All physicals for spring sports must be turned into the front office in order to participate in practice.
The mandatory spring sports meeting will be held on February 25 @ 6:30pm in the HS auditorium.
