Hello Everyone,

My name is Aletha Pargo, and I am thrilled to be in my 8th year teaching Physical Education/Health at Gaston Elementary School. I believe physical education provides a vital role to the students well-being by developing, physically, literate individuals who have the knowledge, skills and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activity. 

I am a native of Lawrenceville, Virginia, where I began my teaching career, teaching physical education/health to middle schoolers, for four years. 

I graduated from Virginia State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a minor in Sports Marketing.

I enjoy watching t.v., spending time with my family, coaching youth and refeering recreational sports. 

As Debra Maxted stated," The game is never more important than the people you play with.
