Day 2News from the Library: Attention students! Please check to see if you have any overdue books and return them to the library as soon as possible - so they can be recorded in the annual inventory! Check at home or in your locker; find overdue books in your email or at the Library! Remember, library books beeee-long in the Library!
Drama Club: Calling ALL CAST, SET CREW, AND ADDITIONAL PIRATES! Remember! There is rehearsal tomorrow, Saturday, May 11, from 9:00 – 2:00! Bring costume pieces in a paper bag with your name and character clearly marked! Pizza lunch will be provided! Bring your own drinks! See you then!

Please see Mrs. Palazzo in room 101 for any questions you may have.MUD Dance: Attention 8th graders! The 8th grade Moving Up Dance is on 5/23 from 6-8. Tickets will be on sale in lunches starting next week, on Tuesday 5/14, Wednesday 5/15, and Thursday 5/16. Tickets are $10 each. Please see Mrs. Miller or Ms. DePoint in the Counseling Center with any questions!

Day 2
Modified Track: On Friday the Modified track team traveled to Barker and came away with a lot of victories! Avarie VandePut and Domink Flaherty finished first in the 55 meter hurdles with Evan Brown coming in a close second. Azzy Mahar won her heat of the 100 meter dash while John Murphy won his heat of the 400 meter dash. Teresa Dudek had a great run and placed second in her heat of the 100 meter run. Mackenzie Hill took first in the mile and second in the 800 meter run, finishing behind Macy Andrews. And the relay teams of Colton Amidone, Carter Wemple, Domink Flaherty, and Evan Brown placed first in the 4 by 100 meter realy and the girls also placed first with the team of Azzy Mahar, Macy Andrews, Riley McAllister, and Avarie Vandeput. In the field Zach Meincke threw the discus 57 feet while both Jamyica Vidal and Bree Joseph also threw over 50 feet. Dwayne Dawes also finished out the meet getting a personal best, jumping 4 feet 10 inches for the high jump! Great meet! Bus leaves at 3:30 for our meet in Akron tonight.Track Team: The boys and girls track team competed at Starpoint invite. Sienna Gibson had a career best time in the 2000 steeplechase with a time of 9:37. Kayla Hallman ran the 800 and she also had a career best time.

Day 1
Modified Track: On Wednesday the modified track meet had their first track meet of the season. Averi VandePut won the 55 hurdles and Naiten shorter placed second in his heat. Colton Amidone and Mackenzie Hill placed 2nd in both the mile and the 800 meter run. The relay team of Teresa Dudek, Macy Andrews, Azzy Mahar, and Riley McAillister placed second in the 4 by 100 meter relay. In the field Dwayne Dawes placed third in high jump and Riley McAllister placed first in the girls high jump. Great meet everyone! Our next meet is tonight at Barker.Track: The boys and girls' track team competed last night vs Akron. The boys' team got a win and finished off their season 4 wins, 1 loss, 1 tie, finishing tied for 2nd overall in the league.
Jaxon Tocco had a strong run in the 3000 meter race.The girls had amazing performances but suffered a narrow loss to Akron 64.5 - 76.5. The girls team finished the league season 5 wins - 1 loss, and 2nd place in the league. Kayla Hallman finished 3rd place overall in the 3000 run with fellow runner Sienna Gibson, both in front of Akron's 1st runner. Mykaylnn Johnson had a strong race in both the 100 and 200.
Great season so far with our all league championship a few weeks away.
News from the Library: Buzz into the library for a good book! It’s the place to beeeeeee! Also, remember to continue to donate your clean, empty deposit bottles to the library, and we’ll buy more books! Look for collection boxes in your classrooms!
