Welcome to 5th Grade! 

I look forward to partnering with families to help each child have a successful year of learning. Serene Lake fifth graders follow "The Otter Way" as they work to "BE Safe", "BE Respectful" and "BE Responsible". 

I have high expectations for my students, as I work to meet each child where they are to provide them with the skills and strategies they need to move forward with progress and growth academically, socially and behaviorally.  

Fifth grade provides students with unique experiences as they complete their final year of elementary school and prepare to transition to middle school. Our fifth graders have the opportunity to take part in leadership activities such as Leadership, Library Leaders and Patrol. There are also opportunities for students to join band, orchestra or choir.
