Kimberley Russell Bio
Kimberley Russell is a passionate leader who finds it both motivating and exciting to work with children, teachers, and parents in an environment that strives to continually improve student learning and achievement. Mrs. Russell believes that a high-quality education develops from a positive school environment that embraces a collaborative school culture. She values a child-centered approach to education that focuses on the whole-child.
Mrs. Russell has 26 years of experience in the field of education. She has worked extensively with diverse learners in both the U.K. and U.S. Mrs. Russell has worked at Strawberry Point School in the Mill Valley School District for fifteen years. Throughout her educational career, she has had the opportunity to teach grades 1-5 and has held many leadership positions.
Mrs. Russell received her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from San Francisco State University and holds an undergraduate degree, with honors, in English and Education from Leeds University in West Yorkshire, England.
Mrs. Russell lives in Novato with her husband and two sons. In her free time, she loves to swim, hike, travel and enjoy time at the beach with her family.
