Theatre Arts & Film Studies
MISSION
The Theatre Arts and Film Studies curriculum will ground you in knowledge and techniques that support your chosen work, whether your goals are in the limelight, backstage or behind the camera, whether you eventually find your way to amateur, regional or national theatre, television, film, improvisation, or other field of study. Your education will enable you to be intellectually astute and articulate; to work independently and cooperatively; to predict, plan, brainstorm, troubleshoot, problem-solve, analyze, critique and create; to demonstrate mastery of techniques that will allow you to work in the widest range of theatrical and cinematic styles. We strive to provide you with a supportive environment in which to work -- students and an instructor who share your passion for theatre and film, challenge the boundaries of your knowledge, and truly engage your talent.
