Mrs. Lanie Kent is the Assistant Director of Instruction for Mountain Brook Schools. With twenty plus years in education, she has taught students from second grade to fifth grade and served as a reading coach and assistant principal for an elementary school. Mrs. Kent supports administrators, instructional coaches, and teachers with curricular work, instructional practices, and professional learning.  She also serves as the system ESL Coordinator and McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Liaison.
