Background:

Brock Rotter graduated from Auburn University in 1997 with a BS in Secondary Education, History and English. He began his teaching career in 1998 teaching English, US History I & II, and Government/Economics. From 2005-2009, he ventured out to open retail businesses throughout the Southeast. Having missed teaching, Mr. Rotter returned to Birmingham to restart his career. That year, he received certification to teach middle school Math and taught 7th- and 8th-grade Math until 2012. Mr. Rotter also has a Master's in History Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and has been teaching Government and Economics at Mountain Brook High School since 2012.
