8th grade science is broken up into two sections. 

 

The first semester revolves around scientific processes, properties of matter, elements and compounds, the periodic table, chemical and physical reactions.

 

The second semester deals with physics, motion, forces, energy, and energy transfer. 

 

 

This course will involve a lot of math practice, graphing, and formulaic equations.
