I began my teaching career in 1992 after graduating from Auburn University in Business/Marketing Education.  This year starts my twenty-fifth year in education and my fourteenth year at Mountain Brook Junior High.  In 2013, I began teaching a new state required elective called Career Preparedness!  This course focuses on developing skills that will help prepare students for postsecondary learning and workforce opportunities.  I love learning new and innovative ways of bringing technology into the classroom. I have a passion for teaching and constantly tweak activities and lessons to be more meaningful and engaging for my students. I’m looking forward to an exciting year!  When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, exercising, and spending time with my husband and two children.
