Welcome students and parents. I am Dr. Glenn Lamar and I teach U.S. and European AP History. I have a Bachelors Degree in French and a Masters Degree in History from Auburn University. I continued my studies at Florida State University and obtained a Ph.D. in Modern European History. I was a history professor at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette for 7 years and then spent four very interesting years teaching for the Dept. of Defense at the Air War College at Maxwell AFB from 2001-2005

I have been at Mountain Brook HS since 2006 and am looking forward to another exciting year.
