Mrs. Sara Martin is starting her tenth year in education. She is excited about transitioning to the library from the English classroom. She started her career at Oxford Middle School in Oxford, Alabama where she taught eighth grade English Language Arts. She then moved to Carrollton, Georgia, teaching at Central Middle School. She taught sixth and eighth grade English Language Arts for six years at CMS. While at CMS she also served on the leadership team as the sixth grade English department head. She was also recognized as Teacher of the Year in 2020. She finished her Masters degree in Library Science in the same year. 

She returned home to Alabama two years ago, and has since taught 7th grade English at Mountain Brook Junior High.
