The 2022-2023 school year will be Mr. Merrill's 23rd year teaching mathematics and 1st year teaching with Mountain Brook Schools. This year he will be teaching Algebra I and Algebra II and coaching football. 

Mr. Merrill graduated from Vestavia Hills High School (1996), completed his undergraduate degree at Auburn (2000), and did his graduate work at UAB (2003, 2010). 

Mr. Merrill and his wife Monica have four children, ages 16, 15, 13, and 10.
