Margaret Ann Denton

Ms. Denton is proud to return to her Alma Mater for her second year at MBHS and fourteenth year of teaching.

Mrs. Denton grew up in Mountain Brook, Alabama, and graduated from Auburn University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Marketing Education. She continued her education at Auburn and earned her Master’s in Business/Marketing Education, Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification and Internet Computer Core (IC3) certification. Ms. Denton spent her first 7 years of teaching in Jefferson County Schools, where she taught at both Hueytown and Pleasant Grove Middle Schools. While there she also coached JV Cheerleading and Middle School Girls' Track. Ms. Denton has spent her last 6 years at Vestavia Hills High School, where she taught Career Preparedness, Law in Society, Personal Finance and served as the Work-Based Learning Coordinator. Ms. Denton coached Varsity Indoor/Outdoor track while at VHHS. 

Ms. Denton currently teaches Leadership Mountain Brook, Business Software Applications I and II, Digital Marketing, and Science Research. She is a co-sponsor of the Miss Olympian Pageant, National Business Honor Society, and Future Business Leaders of America. She is also a member of ABEA and NBEA.
