Mrs. French is excited to be teaching 8th grade math this year at Mountain Brook Junior High!

A native from the Birmingham area, Mrs. French graduated from Vestavia Hills High School. She continued her education at the University of Alabama and graduated with a degree in Communication Disorders. She later pursued a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Lee University. She worked as a math interventionist for two years, taught 7th grade math for 5 years, and completed her first year teaching 8th grade math last year. 

Kate is married to Drew and they have 3 children! If they are not spending time together at home, you can often find them at a baseball game! Drew is a baseball coach and Kate and the kids love traveling and exploring different cities with him.
