Coach Rodriguez (Coach Rod) is entering his 1st year at MBHS and his 17th year of teaching/coaching.  He is coming to MBHS from Hoover High School where he spent the past five years as a teacher/coach in the athletic department.  Coach Rod was born and raised in Roswell, NM (Yes! That place where the UFO's are) and is a graduate of Roswell High School.  He is an Alumnus of Eastern New Mexico University and Iowa State University having obtained both his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Health and Physical Education along with Sport Administration.  His hobbies include spending quality time with his family, watching football, hanging out with friends, hunting (all game), racquetball, wood working, and watching rodeo's.
