Christi Elias, a native of Long Beach, Mississippi, is a graduate of William Carey University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Secondary Education.  Ms. Elias is entering her eighteenth year teaching science, and her seventh year in the Mountain Brook School System.  She was a college athlete participating in women's soccer.  She continued her love of soccer after college by coaching at her alma mater before moving to South Carolina to assist with developing the first women's soccer team for Winthrop University in Rock Hill. Although she loved coaching, Ms. Elias followed her love of family and passion for teaching back to Mississippi.  Growing up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Ms. Elias enjoys fishing, outdoor activities, and anything that involves spending quality time with family.  Ms. Elias is excited about this upcoming school year, and will be teaching Advanced Anatomy and Physiology and Physical Science!
