Mr. Rosenstiel was born in Buffalo, New York, and moved south at the age of four.  He attended grade school and high school, in Mobile, Alabama. He received his undergraduate degree of Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Memphis.

Prior to coming to Mountain Brook High School in 2015, Mr. Rosenstiel held a position as a teacher at Hoover High School teaching AP Chemistry and Engineering Academy classes.  Mr. Rosenstiel also taught math, science and engineering classes in the Jefferson County School System.
