Mrs. Caroline Carmichael is part of the Mathematics Department Faculty at MBHS, and was a member of the dance team at the University of Alabama, serving as captain her senior year. She holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, and Master's Degree in Secondary Education.
Mrs. Anna Scofield is one of our Coaches. She is a 2009 graduate of Mountain Brook Schools where she held leadership roles in dance programs at the junior high and high school. She coached the 7th Grade Dance Team at Mountain Brook Junior High for many years, and trained extensively at a local Birmingham dance studio. She brings to the program a wealth of dance training in multiple genres.
Ms. Courtney Zajic is one of our Coaches, and is a graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham where she was a 4-year UAB Golden Girl. Serving as Captain her senior year, she was awarded Teammate of the Year for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons. A graduate of Helena High School, Ms. Zajic worked on UDA Staff for two years, and has competed at UDA College Nationals. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from UAB's School of Nursing in May 2021, and works as a nurse at an area hospital.
