Mayor's Annual Back to School Bash

The Mayor's Annual Back to School Bash will be Saturday, August 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Make plans to join us at Frank Seale Middle School for this free event, open to all MISD students. Activities will include rides, face painting, candy cannon, water slides, games, and local talent showcase – and more!

School supply packets for 2024-25 will be available for Midlothian ISD elementary students while supplies last. No pre-registration is required. For more information, contact Manna House directly.

Elementary Meet the Teacher Night

Elementary families are invited to Meet the Teacher Night on Monday, August 12.

Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade: 6:00 to 6:45 p.m.
3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade: 7:15 to 8:00 p.m.

Save the date to save your seat! Please be sure to submit returning student registration by August 5 to ensure your student receives a phone call from their teacher prior to Meet the Teacher Night.

Middle School Kick-off

Middle School Kick-off will be held on Thursday, August 8 at all middle schools from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Save the date to save your seat! Please be sure to submit student registration (and updated immunization records for incoming 7th graders) by July 29 to ensure the student class schedule is printed and available on August 8.

Midlothian Heritage High School Launch and Jaguar Jumpstart

Heritage High School students are invited to pick up class schedules, purchase parking passes, and more on the following dates:

Thursday, August 1:
8:30am - 10:30am (SENIORS)
11:30am - 1:30 pm (JUNIORS)
2:00pm - 4:00 pm (SOPHOMORES)

Friday, August 2:
1:30pm - 3:30pm (FRESHMEN)

Parent Meeting from 5:00 - 5:20 p.m. for all incoming freshman and new-to-MISD families.
