Dr. Belding gives update at chamber luncheon

The Midlothian Chamber of Commerce's monthly April meeting featured the presentation of the Midlothian ISD State of the District. Superintendent Dr. David Belding spoke to nearly 200 business and community members, providing an update and overview of district information, initiatives and various accolades. Attendees were greeted by Heritage and Midlothian cheer programs, the Belles and Pantherettes, and the MISD Scratch Kitchen students from The MILE prepared and served lunch. JROTC Color Guard started the meeting by posting the colors and leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Attendees could also visit with robotics students from Longbranch Elementary, Entrepreneurship students from The MILE and Health Science students from MHS before the program began.

It was a great day that shined a light on Midlothian ISD. Special thanks to the Midlothian Chamber of Commerce and the luncheon sponsor Texas State Optical.
