Attention incoming Kindergarteners
Wear your commemorative shirts on the first day!
Midlothian ISD will welcome the Class of 2037 to their very first day of school on August 14, when they enter their Kindergarten classrooms. This is the beginning of their 13-year educational journey to high school graduation.
To commemorate the milestone, MISD proudly partnered with Pogue Construction to provide newly enrolled kindergarten students with a "My 1st First Day" T-shirt that students may choose to wear on the first day of school August 14. Kindergarten students are encouraged to wear the commemorative shirt on the first day of school or bring it for a photo opportunity.
Shirts were distributed during the spring Kindergarten Round-Up event and will be available at Meet the Teacher Night. Lillian Hlavaty, a Midlothian High School Class of 2024 graduate, designed the shirt with the support of graphic design teacher Mrs. Nicole Preston.
