Joel Call brings 23 years of coaching and teaching experience, shaped by mentors like D.W. Rutledge, Jim Rackley, and Ron Faught. He began his career at Navarro High School, then returned to his alma mater, Judson High School, where he served in key roles such as Interim Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Head Track Coach over two decades.
During his time at Judson, his teams made two football state finals and won a track state championship in 2013, with several top finishes at the state level. His efforts earned him honors as San Antonio Express-News Track Coach of the Year and UIL/NFHS State Boys Track Coach of the Year.
Joel is proudest of the support from his family—his wife Britni, a fellow coach, and their four kids: Brooklyn, Jack, Perri, and Presley. Together, they live and love the team lifestyle. His parents remain faithful fans in the stands, cheering him on. His coaching is fueled by family, faith, and the simple belief:
“Do your best, don’t sweat the rest. Winning will take care of itself.”
