Why should I join Step Club?
Step Club can be a fun, energetic way to express yourself and be part of a team. You’ll:
- Learn an exciting dance form rooted in cultural history.
- Build confidence, coordination, and rhythm.
- Make new friends and collaborate with a supportive group.
- Have the chance to perform and represent Liberty Middle School with pride.
Step Club is for everyone—no tryouts, no experience required, just your energy and enthusiasm!
What is the purpose of having a Step Club?
- To learn about the history and cultural significance of stepping.
- To develop coordination, rhythm, and confidence through stepping exercises.
- To create and perform exciting stepping routines.
- To work as a team, enhancing communication and collaboration skills.
When does the Step Club meet?
Every Wednesday, 3:30pm - 4:30pm (pick up in the back parking lot)
Where do I go?
Yellow Pod, Rm. 218
Do I have to pay a fee to be part of Step Club?
No! At this time, there are no fees to be in the Step Club. But for performances, all members will need to dress in all black.
