Color Guard

Mrs. Kinard is the DMS color guard sponsor. DMS has a fall guard and competitive Winter Guard team. Both teams are for current 7th and 8th grade students. Tryouts for fall guard are held in May with makeup tryouts for new students in August. Winter Guard tryouts and practices begin in October; competitions begin in February and end in April. No experience is required to tryout for either team.

We are starting a 6th grade Spin Club at DMS this year; this is an introductory club intended for 6th graders who are interested in learning how to spin/toss.
