Ms. Missy King
I am so PROUD to be a Jet!!! My family moved to Madison in 1974 and I grew up right here in this wonderful city! I graduated from Bob Jones High School in 1987. I love living and raising my children here in Madison. And, I have loved watching Madison grow...I remember when County Line Rd. was a gravel road! Madison has come a long way from the little cotton farming town it once was when I moved here as a child and I absolutely love it!
I am entering 30th year as an Educator and I LOVE teaching and learning! I have been a classroom teacher at the Elementary and Secondary level. In Elementary I taught all subjects and in Secondary I taught Math and Language Arts before becoming a Media Specialist at the Middle and High school level, teaching 9th-12th grade Research skills, Digital Literacy, Digital Portfolios, and Digital Citizenship, as well as co-teaching content-specific lessons with teachers.
Every day at JC is exciting and new and I absolutely love working, partnering, and collaborating with all the students, teachers, faculty, and parents! It's ALWAYS a Great Day to be a Jet!!!
I have two wonderful children, Cason and Isabella. We have three cats named Jack, Meadow, and Okra.
I love to travel, read, listen to audiobooks, run/walk for exercise, raise money to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, cook, bake, and photography,
