Hi! My name is Heather Newland, and I love teaching third grade at Heritage Elementary! This will be my 14th year teaching. I previously taught in Mobile County Public Schools for 7 years and in Decatur City Schools for 4 years. My family lives in Madison and I am married with 3 kids. When I am not teaching, I enjoy visiting bakeries, scrapbooking, playing percussion, and spending time with my family. I love getting to know each student and creating a safe, supportive, creative environment.
