Little Oddfellows, in the back of Elliott Bay Book Company

Wikipedia:Meetup/Seattle is a meeting in Seattle which often, but not always, takes place on or around the third Tuesday evening of every month at the Little Oddfellows café inside of Elliott Bay Book Company at 1521 10th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122. The purpose of the meeting is to socialize, collaborate Wikipedia projects among Seattle-area Wikipedia users, and to share in-person Wikipedia knowledge. The meetup is entirely volunteer run. Meetings are free to attend but you will need to buy your own food and beverages. If you plan to come, please consider putting your name on the list! Drop-ins are also welcome.

We will meet at the Little Oddfellows café inside of Elliott Bay Book Company at 1521 10th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122 in Capitol Hill, 47°40′31″N 122°19′03″W / 47.67514°N 122.3176°W / 47.67514; -122.3176, Official website. The closest Light Rail stop is the Capitol Hill light rail station, which is 0.4 miles (0.64 km) from the bookstore. Mass transit that serves the Capitol Hill station includes the First Hill Streetcar & the 8, 9, 10, 43, 49, 60 busses. The First Hill Streetcar & the 2, 11, 49, & 60 busses all travel within 1½ blocks of Elliott Bay Book Company.

WikidataCon 2025 is online October 31 - November 02, 2025. As the event page states, We encourage local communities and user groups to organize autonomous pre-conference events and on-site satellite events. Wikidata:Thirteenth Birthday is officially on 29 October 2025.
- The online schedule is Friday, 10/31 9am–1pm PDT; Saturday, 11/1 1am–5am PDT; & Sunday, 11/2 8am–noon PST.
- Peaceray made a reservation for the Capitol Hill Branch Library for Saturday, 11/1, 1pm–5pm PDT. Peaceray will set up the event page.
@Jmabel: has suggested that we sponsor a workshop for how to use GIMP, to be open to the public & not limited to Wikimedians. Perhaps we can do this in December 2025 at a Seattle Public Library branch.
Wikipedia Day 2026 will be the 25th anniversary of Wikipedia. The closest weekend day is Saturday, January 17. We are currently planning that Peaceray will reserve a room at the Seattle Public Library branch in Green Lake.
