    1.  Welcome

    2. Review Minutes from previous meeting - Sam, Approved 1st Sara 2nd Jessica

    3. Student Safety

      1. Student was hit in the crosswalk at 800 W 2600 S on April 30 - crossing guard was doing was she was supposed to, 4 children and a parent were in the crosswalk, driver was not paying attention

      2. Update from Nibley City

        1. Crossing guards now have flashing signs (battery operated) and will be given whistles

        2. Quarterly meetings with all the crossing guards in the city to discuss concerns

        3. City is looking at manuals and resources for traffic control options. Traffic studies are being re-done along 800 West to gather data to determine the best solution. Possible options:

          1. 4 way stop

          2. School zone with flashing lights

          3. Push button yellow flashing lights at the crossing

          4. Multiple guards during certain times of the year when foot traffic is heaviest (there have been 2 crossing guards at 800 W 2600 S after school since the incident)

          5. Go pro for crossing guards so they can send footage to sheriffs to increase the citations given in school zones. Providence City has done this with some success

          6. City social media blitz in fall and early spring when the numbers of walkers increase

          7. Safety assembly for kids and parents

        4. In the past, 800 W 2600 S has been studied but was not busy enough for some of these interventions

        5. Bear River Health is continuing their walkability study

      3. CCSDUT appreciates Nibley being so proactive. Nibley is the safety walking community in the valley!

      4. Discussion about parents who wave their children to their car to avoid the cross walk that crosses 2600 S by the school. Sheriffs are going to watch key areas and try to help educate parents. Also discussed intersection at 800 W Gibbons Lane by the park.

    4. 2024-25 SCC Committee

      1. Sarah Hancock and Amie will not be returning so we are in need of 2 additional parents for next year

    5. Raise the Cap Constitutional Amendment

      1. This is on the Fall ballot. It would raise the money schools get from the trustlands by 1%, it would not raise taxes but would give schools more funds

    6. Fundraiser Update

      1. Wed and Thurs this week. Volunteers still needed, especially during the 6th grade/afternoon preschool time

      2. Mascot from Ridgeline is coming, Christy (a reading aid) is coming dressed up with a working droid, Mason Falsev from USU basketball will come for 1 hr

    7. End of year information

      1. Student class assignments - students will go with the next grade teachers at 11:35 the last day of school so the teachers can get their new “recruits”. Students will go home with a card stating their class assignment for next year

      2. Awards assembly - Wed, May 29 @ 2. Parents whose students are getting an award will be invited. Last BRAVE awards, Great American Award

    8. Additional Items for Discussion, Comments, Questions
