Welcome:
Trust Lands Plan:
- Due at the end of the month
- Mrs. Wilson met with team leads to talk about expenditure, etc.
- They talked about how our highest need is reading and our goal will be the same.
- District sets other goals. Kindergarten acadience goal and 3rd grade acadience goal
- Team Leads felt that we don’t need another goal for acadience because the district does it.
- HMH gives teachers a way to identify specific skills that they need help with- a good diagnostic
- Financial:
- As a school we are supposed to get almost $100,000
- The district had a team come out and look at our inventory of technology and came up with a plan with Trudy about what we may need to purchase the next calendar year and the following calendar year.
- Slowly replacing teachers' desktop computers… so that they don’t all go out at once.
- Trustlands will be used for subscriptions, para educators, hardware and software
- Chromebooks- - we are at a good point, we just updated a couple of carts when needed with our TSSA funds
- Trust Lands we have about 12% left for the rest of the year… We should be at 0% by the end of the year.
Rise Testing:
- Proctors are needed for that (about 3). Let Kaiann Womack know if you are available or if you know someone who can help.
- Around $12 or $13 an hour and about 3-4 hours a day 3 days a week for about 4-5 weeks.
- You have to do an ethics training and sign a paper.
- Proctors are there for teacher protection.
School Community Council voted in favor of proposed Trust Lands plan.
