Past Teaching Assignments: This will be my eighth year of teaching second grade but my first year teaching at North Park.

Why did you decide to become a teacher? Working with kids is so fun and you are never bored! I love learning and as a teacher you learn something new everyday with your students.

Where did you grow up? Cache Valley

Family: I recently got married and I love trying new things with my husband and we have a lot of fun together! I have my parents, an older sister, a younger sister and a younger brother.

Hobbies/Interests: I love traveling and learning about new places! My husband and I bought a house and did some renovations. I have so much fun decorating and working on our home! I also like to be outside, exercise, watch movies, organize, do art and be creative. I am trying to get better at cooking and baking too lol. Spending time with my husband and family is my favorite thing! :)

Family:  I am mother to 4 great children- Jack, Max, Tate and Ellie. We also have 4 chickens, 2 goats, a cat and Dozer, our doodle!

Why did you decide to become a teacher?  In 1st grade I realized how much I love learning! That is when I decided I was going to be a 1st Grade teacher. And I made it happen! :) I still love learning and teaching children how awesome learning can be.

Where did you grow up? Reno, NV until 12 and then Richmond, UT

Family:  I am the oldest of nine children; 6 girls and 3 boys. I am married to Jim and we have five children; 2 girls and 3 boys. We also have three Grandchildren! 2 girls and 1 boy. I love my family!

Hobbies/Interests: I love being outside! Hiking, snorkeling, and being in the rain are some of my favorites. I also love reading, singing, and taking photos.
