PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit association that prides itself on being a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for public education. Membership in PTA is open to anyone who wants to be involved and make a difference for the education, health, and welfare of children and youth.
The PTA, or Parent Teacher Association, at Wilson provides many activities throughout the school year for your child. We also help the teachers any way we can. With that, we need parents to volunteer their time to help with these activities.
Reasons to Volunteer for PTA:
Volunteering can take as little or as much time as you would like. Some of our activities only take 30 minutes out of your day.
Kids love seeing their parents as the school and taking part in the activities.
Our goal is to have at least 2 parents from each grade in the presidency and several that will help on the committee. You can help us meet our goal.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the PTA President, Tiffany Olsen, at tiffanykayolsen@gmail.com and check out the Wilson Elementary Facebook page for current events and activities. @wilsonelementaryschoolloganutah
